This website was conceptualised and created by Ms Khoo Ee Hoon. This site was created due to the lack of consolidated and detailed study of theatre on the internet back in 1997.
Ee Hoon is trained in Stage Management and Theatre Production with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is one of the first Far Eastern student to be accepted into this prestigeous course. She has worked on many genre of theatre and has worked on local productions as well as many international travelling productions. She is fortunate to have worked in both capacity of Stage and Production Management. From 2003 - 2008, Ee Hoon worked frequently in producing concerts and customised theatre while running her own business at the same time. February 19th 2008, saw the launch of the singaporetheatre.com forum. March 8th, 2008 saw the inception of "The Production Office" that focuses on the production of highly customised theatrical concerts and events.
